Long Beach Approves Anti-Bullying Law
Good news for parents and residents of the Fairmont Apartments and all Long Beach apartments. The Long Beach City Council has approved new legislation in progress and made it clear that bullies won't be tolerated in local youth, parks or recreation programs.
Vice Mayor Robert Garcia proposed the legislation to address this growing problem, which has become a national issue. According to national statistics, one in five five high school students said they had experienced bullying in 2011. That's an amazing statistic.

Long Beach water main break to slow Friday commute
Current event traffic report for Friday, June 29th: Traffic will continue to be slowed through the morning commute Friday after a water main break on Willow Street in West Long Beach occurred late Wednesday, according to the Long Beach Water Department.
Willow Street was initially closed in both directions between Santa Fe Avenue and Cota Avenue/La Vere Drive due to the break that officials said happened at about 10 p.m.

New Vacancy is Spotless and Ready to Move In
Our new studio vacancy is clean and affordable with a fresh coat of paint in every room and is virtually spotless and ready to move in. This apartment is very roomy and comes with a huge walk-in closet, with poles for a grand hanging closet, and shelves for plenty of storage.
This studio has an amazing living room with new shutters and drapers. There is nice clean carpet around the whole apartment. The kitchen has many cabinets for pots, pans, and all storage uses, a full-size sink and a fine-looking tile counter.
The bathroom has a full size tub for relaxing baths after a long day at work, and a built-in shower. It also contains a medicine cabinet, and fresh new paint.
The apartment has a built in dresser for many uses and overall is a great place to live that also has high ceilings.
